Itinerary

  • Day 1: ARRIVE GUWAHATI

    Arrival Guwahati and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit famous Kamkhya Temple known for Tantrisim. Further river curise in river Brahmaputra, the only male river in india.

  • Day 2: DRIVE TO TEZPUR

    Arrive Guwahati by flight, our tour representative of Travel holiday will meet and greet you and assist you to transfer to Tezpur (200 km / approx 5 hrs drives). Upon arrival at Tezpur, check-in at hotel and relax. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3: TEZPUR – ZIRO

    After breakfast, drive to Ziro (310 km / approx 7 hrs drive). Ziro is one of the most beautiful hill stations of Arunachal Pradesh surrounded by Apatani tribal villages. The tribal people of Ziro spend an easy lifestyle. Ziro is an ideal place for trekking and offers a number of other attractive spots. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 4: IN ZIRO

    Apatani-Tribes

    After breakfast, visit the villages of the Apatani Tribes. Ziro village is famous for its fascinating Apatani people. This tribe is animist and is famous for worship nature (Sun & Moon) and do cultivation in hilly area by slicing the hills. The main attraction of the tribe is the old women of the community having facial tattoos and nose plugs. Visit Hong-Dibbo-Hija-Bulla-Hari village. Hong Basti (village) of Ziro, it is supposed be to the largest village in Asia. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 5: ZIRO – DAPORIZO

    After breakfast, drive to Daporizo (180 km / approx 8 hrs drive), a small & picturesque town known for its varied ethnic cultures succinct at one place. It is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes. En-route visit Raga village, located in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal-Pradesh and famous for its Hillmiri tribal people. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 6: DAPORIZO – ALONG

    After breakfast, drive to along (160 km / approx 6 hrs drive). It is also known as Aalo famous for pretty plantations and its Mechuka Valley. This small picturesque tiny hamlet will give you a quiet, pristine and refreshing experience. Also enjoy some adventures spots like trekking and river rafting. Along also homes the tribe Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Boker), the largest tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Later visit Kabo village. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 7: IN ALONG

    After breakfast, full day explore local tribal villages of Pobdi, Jirdam and Kabo. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 8: ALONG – PASIGHAT

    Village-of-Pasighat

    After breakfast, drive to Pasighat (140 km / approx 6 hrs drive), known to be the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. It offers the snowcapped mountain peaks, rock-strewn mountains and a variety of flora and fauna. Pasighat is inhabited by the Adi tribe who are known for their colorful Ponung and war dance. En-route visit the Along Village majority of Aalo’s population consists of Galo tribe and Galo is the main language of Aalo peoples. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.   • Day 9: PASIGHAT – DIBRUGARH

    After breakfast, drive to Dibrugarh (30 km / approx 1.5 hrs drive) by crossing Brahmaputra River (5-6 hrs). To cross the river use a boat which is generally use by the local peoples for conveying passengers and goods. Dibrugarh is situated on the South bank of river Brahmaputra. It is the largest tea exporting center of Assam. The entire district is surrounded by beautiful tea plantations and has tea factories. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.   • Day 10: DIBRUGARH – MON

    After breakfast, drive to Mon (220 km / approx 6 hrs drive). Mon district is the northernmost district of Nagaland, is the home of the Konyak Nagas. The Konyaks tribe make  tattoos on their face and body. This tribe is also known as the head hunters of North East India. These tribal members maintain a much disciplined community life with strict duties and responsibilities for every individual. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.   • Day 11: IN MON

    After breakfast, drive to Shangnyu village; it is a well-known village in Mon district. Enjoy watching a huge and amazing wooden monument. The local people believe that heavenly angels construct this monument. Afternoon visit Longwa village (41 km), one of the biggest villages in Mon district and close to border of India and Burma. In this village one can also see the traditional form of making opium. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 12: MON – MOKOKCHUNG

    After breakfast, drive to Mokokchung (155 km / approx 6 hrs drive), also known as ‘Land of Pioneers’. It is the cultural nerve centre of the Ao people. This community is famous for its colorful traditional dance. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Later visit Ungma village, one of the most ancient Ao villages. Here you will know about the folklore, customs and traditions of Ao Naga. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 13: MOKOKCHUNG – KOHIMA

    After breakfast, drive to Kohima (210 km / approx 7 hrs drive), the hilly capital of Nagaland. Kohima is the home of the Angami Naga tribe. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 14: IN KOHIMA

    KOHIMA-TOUR

    After breakfast, visit Kohima War Memorial dedicated to soldiers of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces. Who made supreme sacrifices during World War 2nd. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 15: KOHIMA – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (215 km / approx 7 hrs drive), situated in the heart of Assam on the bank of the Brahmaputra River it covers an area of 430 sq-km. Upon arrival,  check-in at hotel. This place is a paradise for nature’s lover and an idyllic grazing ground for the renowned One Horned Rhinoceros. The other attractions include wild buffaloes, barasingha, elephants, and grey headed fishing eagle. Long elephant grasslands, marshlands, and dense tropical moist broad leaf forest creates an ideal ambiance for the survival of the wildlife. In the year 1985, Kaziranga was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 16: IN KAZIRANGA (ASSAM)

    Early wake-up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohoro) for Elephant ride. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Afternoon jeep safari and enjoy watching some of the famous birds that are available in this park are Bengal Florican, Blyth’s Kingfisher, Swamp Francolin, White- Bellied Heron, Dalmatian Pelican, Spot-billed Pelican etc. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 17: KAZIRANGA – JORHAT – MAJULI ISLAND

    Majuli-Island

    During morning drive to Jorhat and further drive to Nimati ghat to take the motor boat to the largest river Island of world where you will visit different Hindu monks in their monastery. Arrive during afternoon arrive in the Majuli Island. If time permit visit monastery of Hindu Monks. Evening dance program of the Monks. Overnight stay at Majuli.

  • Day 18: LARGEST RIVER ISLAND OF WORLD AT MAJULI

    During morning visit different Hindu Monastry and know about their life, monastery, culture and tradition.  Overnight stay at Majuli.

  • Day 19: MAJULI –JORHAT - GUWAHATI

    During morning visit different Hindu Monastry and know about their life, monastery, culture and tradition.  Overnight stay at Majuli.

  • Day 20: Departure

    Drive to Guwahati airport to take  a flight for onward destination.
