Itinerary

  • Day 1 (SUN): BHUBANESWAR

    Arrrival Bhubnaeswar and transfer to hotel. After refreshment visit the temple city Bhubaneswar such as Lingaraj temple, Multeswar/Sidheswar, Parsurameswar and Brahmeswar temples (6th – 12th century temples) Khandagiri/Udaygiri Jain caves. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 2 (MON): BALIGUDA

    Drive to Baliguda area to visit Kutia kondh tribs and their villages (Photography is strictly prohibited both in village and market). Overnight stay at Baliguda.

  • Day 3 (TUE): BALIGUDA

    After breakfast drive to Baliguda area (110KM and 3 hrs) to meet the Kutia Kondh Tatoo faced tribes in their weekly market. After few hours in the market further drive to Rayagada for overnight stay.

  • Day 4 (WED): RAYAGADA – JEYPORE

    During morning drive to Rayagada (40 KM and 1 HRS drive) area to meet the Dunguria Kondh Tribes in their weekly market. Also visit the jwellery village, pottery village etc (Photography is strictly prohibited both in village and market). Further drive to Jaypor for overnight stay.

  • Day 5 (THU): JEYPORE – BONDA – JEYPORE

    After breakfast proceed to Machhkund area (80 KM and 2 HRS drive) to meet the most colourful primitive BONDA TRIBES in their weekly market (Photography is strictly prohibited both in village and market). After few hours in the market back to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 6 (FRI): JEYPORE – KUNDLI – JEYPORE

    Gadaba-tribal

    After breakfast proceed Kundli area to where you will see the largest tribal weekly market of Paraja, Rana and Mali tribes in Kunduli, 65 km away via Sunabeda. It is a very colorful market. Later drive down to Nandapur to visit village of Sanaparoja tribes, if possible, with small trekking and overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 7 (SAT): JEYPORE – GUPTESHWAR – JEYPORE

    Dhuruba-tribe

    During morning after breakfast move towards Gupteswar (70 km) to visit the villages of very interesting DHURUBA tribes. Also walk through villages of Ramanguda & Cave temple of Lord Shiva in the hidden mountain famous among the tribes. Later drive down to Nuagaon to witness the beautiful tribal weekly market of Dhuruba Tribes & Sana Paroja and then back to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 8 (SUN): JEYORE - RAYAGADA

    During morning drive to Rayagada enroute visit some DESIA KONDH tribal village. Overnight stay at Rayagada.

  • Day 9 (MON): RAYAGADA – TAPTAPANI

    After breakfast drive to Taptapani area to witness the 2nd largest Budhist monastry in Asia. Overnight stay in Pantha Niwas in Taptapani hill station surrounded with beautiful nature with hotsulpher bath.

  • Day 10 (TUE): TAPTAPANI – SAURA TRIBES – GOPALPUR

    After lazy check out drive to the villages of SAURA TRIBES. After few hours in the village further drive to Gopalpur enroute visit Textile village. Overnight stay at Gopalpur on Sea.

  • Day 11 (WED): PURI – BHUBANESWAR

    Drive to Bhubnaeswar enroute visit Dhauli Buddhist stupa & 64 Yogini temple. Arrival Bhubnaeswar and if wish do some shopping. Rest of the time at leisure and further drive to airport for your next destination.
