| About Assam |
Assam , in the north east of India, is the most advanced and accessible state in the otherwise underdeveloped and isolated region called Northeast India. It is surrounded by all the six northeast states: Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura, as well as by Bhutan and Bangladesh. Its biggest city, Guwahati, is the best base to start journeys into these states.

very fertile, with heavy rains between June to September, it is full of rice paddy fields, produces about 15 percent of the world's total output of tea (Assam Tea being a brand name in its own right) and also produces more than half of India's petroleum. Assam is also famous for its silks such as Paat or Muga. However, the rains that make it so fertile also make Assam uncomfortably humid during the summer and rainy seasons. |

Arunachal Pradesh is considered to be the "nature's treasure trove"and home to orchids, known for their exquisitely beautiful blooms, from one of the dominant taxa with more than six hundred species, occurring in varying elevations and climatic conditions throughout the state.
Arunachal is also Home to a complex mix of communities, mostly tribal, Arunachal Pradesh is primarily a tribal society. The population is mainly of the Mangoloid and Tibeto-Burmese stock. The tribes range from slash-and-burn animists to the Tibetan Buddhist Monpa villages in the West and Thai people, the khampti in the East. The largest groups are the Adi in the Along area, the Misaimi in the ranges of North-East of Pasighat and the Nishi around Itanagar. There are about 20 major tribes divided into sub-tribes. The principal tribes are Adi, Nishi, Apatani, Tagin, Misaim, Monpa, Aka, Nocte,Wancho, Singpho, Tangsha, Khampti, Padma, Miris and Sherdukpen. The people in general are friendly, amiable and colourful. |

The tribal customs bind the tribesmen together into a solid community. The society is patriarchal and primogeniture. Fundamental laws of inheritance with variations are not uncommon. The tribes follow endogamy and strictly observe the rule of clan exogamy. Polygamy is socially sanctioned and practised most. The organisational Institutions administer the community and look after the welfare of the people. |

Itinerary :-
Day 01:- Arrival Guwahati and visit Kamkhaya Temple.
Day 02:- Drive to Kaziranga and afternoon enjoy the tea garden and nearby village etc. Overnight stay at wild grass surrounded with beautiful nature
Day 03:- Kaziranga.:- During morning enjoy the elephant ride and afternoon zeep safari to the national park. Overnight at Wild Grass surrounded with beautiful nature.
Day 04:- Drive to jhorhat and further drive to Nimati Ghat to take the ferry in river Brahmapurta. Arrival Majuli, the River Island and During evening enjoy the evening prayer in the monastry of typical Hindu monk. Overnight stay in a monastry or guest house.
Day 05:- Full day driving to various monasteries of different Hindu Monks. Share the experience with Hindu Monk in their monastery. Overnight guest house.
Day 05:- Boot Back to Nimatighat and further drive to Dibrugarh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: - Drive to Passighat - visit to Renging village. Overnight stay at a basic Hotel
Day 07:- Drive to Along overnight stay Along at Circuit House & Camp.
Day 08:- During morning visit the Tagin Tribe– enroute visit Adi Galo tribal villages. Stay at Circuit House.
Day 09:- Drive to Daporizo enroute visit Hill Miri tribal villages. Stay at Circuit House or Camp.
Day 10: - During morning visit Zero to visit the Apatani tribal village. Overnight stay at Zero.
Day 11:- Visit Nishi tribal villages at Zero .Overnight stay at Zero
Day 12:- Drive to Itanagar to visit to the State Museum and Buddhist monastery. Overnight stay at Itanagar.
Day 13:-Drive to Guwahati and free evening for self. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 14:- Take the flight to kolkatta. Arrival Kolkata for your next destination. |
