Day 07 :- Bomdila - Itanagar : 200km, 8hrs drive. Itanagar the capital city of Arunachal is a modern settlement built in the vicinity of the ruin of the 14th century fort old capital. Itanagar has interesting museum known as Jawaharlal Nerhu Museum, time spent here can really acquaint you with the culture and tradition of this region. All prototype of the bamboo and cane architecture of dwelling of different tribes and apparel, design and functional tools and others handicrafts are display here. Evening in the hotel.
Day 08 :- Itanagar - Ziro : After break fast visit local market, Museum and drive to Ziro 150km, 6hrs drive. Enroute Nishi tribal villages.( Long house) Evening in the hotel.
Day 09:- Ziro :Whole day at Ziro the headquarter of Lower Sabunsiri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 1560m, is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages, Dibbo- Hija- Bulla- Hari and Hong village. Hong village the second biggest and most organised tribal villages in Asia. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tatoo in women & man and its nose plug in women. Evening in the hotel.
Day 10:- Ziro - Daporijo : 180km 8hrs drive. Daporijo the headquarter of the Upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 600m is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes. Enroute you can have visit to Hillmiri tribal villages. Evening in Circuit House / tented / paying guest.
Day 11:- Daporijo - Along : 160km 8hrs drive. Along the headquarter of west Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300m inhabitants of Adi(Gallong) tribes. Adi sub tribe which differ from each others like Adi( Gallong, minyong, pasi, padam, Bori, and Boker),Enroute Tagin tribal villages. Evening in the hotel.
Day 12:- Along : Whole day programme at Along. Visit Adi Gallong tribal villages at Jirdin, Kabu, Kaying & Cane bridge on the Siang river, local made of cane and bamboo bridge around 60 to 70m long connecting to the others hill tribes, Adis are expert in making cane bridge. Evening in hotel.
Day 13 :- Along - Pasighat : After breakfast drive to Pasighat the District headquarter of East Siang District. Enroute visit Adi (minyong) tribal villages. Evening in the hotel/Government Guest house.
Day 14:- Pasighat - Dibrugarh : After breakfast drive to ferry ghat to take aboat to Dibrugarh & Cross river Brahamaputra by country made ferry which take 5 to 6 hrs in the Brahamaputra river to reach Dibrugarh. The river Brahamaputra is the confluence of the Siang and Lohit river of Arunachal Pradesh. The ferry service Pasighat to Dibrugarh is a lifeline for this tribes. Evening in the hotel.
Day 15 :- Dibrugarh - Mon : After breakfast drive to Mon 200 km, 7hrs, the District headquarter of Mon District situated at an altitude of 897.64 meters above sea level. It is the home of the Konyaks tribes. Here it is intresting to see the tattooed faces wearing feathered headgears and traditional dress. Konyaks are adept artisans and skilled craftsmen. Here you can find excellent wood carvings, daos (Machetes), guns, gunpowder, headgears etc. Evening tourist lodge.
Day 16:- Mon : Visit typical Konyak tribal village, Shangnyu. Ruled by the chief Angh, it is one of the prominent village of the Mon District. There is a wonderful wooden monument measuring 8ft. in height and 12 ft. breadth which is believe to be constructed by heavenly angels. Carvings of human beings and other creatures are engraved on this monument. Also visit to Konyak Murungs, where one can still see the collection of human skulls. Konyaks were headhunters in the olden days and used to keep the enemies head as a trophy.
Day 17:- Mon - Mokokchung : After breakfast drive to Mokokchung, the district headquarter situated at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea level. This picturesque town is the cultural centre of the AO Nagas. The AO warriors used to wear the beautiful black and red handwoven shawl with its white decorated band to signify their prowess over their enemies. The two main festivals of AO's are Moatsu in early May and Tsungremmong in August. Evening Circuit House.
Day 18:- Mokokchung - Kohima : After breakfast drive to Kohima the state capital and hill station which is situated at an altitude of 1444 meters above sea lavel 180km, 7hrs drive. Evening in the hotel.
Day 19 :- Kohima : After breakfast visit to Khonoma, an Angami tribal village. 20 km towards the west of Kohima, the village has its own traditions of valour and courage. History reveals that khonoma provided protection to several villages in good old days. The village gate tells the story of the British infiltration into Naga .Hills. War Cemetry : A symbolic memorial raised as citation for the supreme sacrifices made by the officers and man during the IInd World War. Museum : The state Musuem treasures rare collection of articles of different tribes which speak about the history and tradition of the Nagas.
Day 20 :- Kohima - Dimapur - Kolkata : After breakfast visit local market and drive to Dimapur. 75km 3 hrs drive.
Day 21 :- Morning visit Kachari ruins and local market and transfer to Airport for your next destination.
